Information Technology Unit
The unit followed the project of developing information systems and technology in higher education at the University, ICTP, which in turn seeks to activate information technology services to reach the college beneficiaries, including students, faculty, and staff. Therefore, the establishment of the IT Unit in the colleges has started gradually in 2012, to be completed within the next five years by 20% of the colleges of each university annually. These units are the link between the various colleges and the six projects provided by ICTP at the universities level, namely: – The Internet infrastructure. – Management information systems. Training. – the digital library. – E-Learning. – electronic gate. In addition to increasing the effectiveness of university projects, these units aim to provide distinguished information technology services to all colleges involved in those projects.
Some of the services provided by the unit:

Follow up the work of the college’s internal network.
Make a periodic survey to develop the college’s network and current and future requirements.
Preparing periodic reports on faults, network efficiency and utilization rate.
Download original software and antivirus.
Coordination and cooperation with the university network administration in order to achieve the required goals and policies.
Carry out the required expansions for the college’s wired and wireless network in coordination with the university’s network.
Regular maintenance of computers and accessories.
Management Information Systems (MIS)
Staff training in MIS systems.
Training faculty on systems related to their work, such as Control.
Providing technical support to MIS users in the college.
Reporting system problems and continuing to solve them.
Coordination with the university’s central administrative information systems project in all technical aspects.

The objectives of the Quality Assurance Unit:
1-Documenting the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the college and the mechanism of updating it.
2-Spreading a culture of quality and ensuring accreditation among members of the teaching staff, their assistants, members of the administrative body, employees, and college students, which achieves performance excellence and supports the completion of tasks.
3-Achieving the college’s mission and strategic goals by ensuring the quality of educational and research educational activities.
4-Improving the quality and quality of the academic programs granted by the college in a way that reflects on the level of the graduates and their competitive ability.
5-Establish a system for receiving and following up students’ complaints, as well as a mechanism to deal with them.
6-Preparing the annual report to evaluate the performance and quality assurance of the college, and submit it to Professor Dr. Dean of the College.
7-Implement the necessary mechanisms to achieve internal audit systems and their continuity.
8-Create a complete database for the college that includes gentlemen (faculty members – faculty assistants – college staff and employees – college students – college programs – academic degrees granted by the college – description of programs and decisions – identification of beneficiaries and requirements of college graduates)
Promote the values of excellence and competitiveness in all disciplines of the college.
9-Ensure that the conditions and requirements of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation are met and that the college qualifies for accreditation.
10-Gaining community confidence in the graduates and proposing establishing new programs according to the needs of the community.
11-Raising the level of community participation in the college to ensure the provision of distinctive services, both qualitative and qualitative, to win the satisfaction of the beneficiaries’ document.
12-Organizing the college’s performance in the field of servicing the complex, developing the environment, and raising and increasing communication between the college and its graduates.
13-Maximizing the performance of the various departments through evaluation reports to manage continuous improvement and development, up to the required quality level.
14-Establish mechanisms to activate the internal and external evaluation of the academic and non-academic activities of the college.

The tasks of the Quality Assurance Unit:
The automatic quality assurance unit through which evaluation and internal review is carried out with a view to quality assurance is the faculty’s educational, research and service activities and the elements affecting it and improving its level of performance, and this includes identifying shortcomings and obstacles and identifying good practices and developing proposals for continuous improvement in order to obtain accreditation.
